Heres a quick photo of my first glazed sculpture. She came out of the kiln early this morning and i was pretty upset with how she looked. She has lost all the delicate detailing of her dress ( It had a flower pattern embossed into it) and the pink glaze has run so that there are white patches showing and there are drippy bits hanging from her dress…its all a bit visceral but maybe thats ok.
the headpiece is not attached yet as i may change it …
and yes Swinkie, she is holding a birdie!
